iPRI is committed to the organization of scientific meetings that further scientific discussion and collaboration. iPRI's premier meeting is the National Cancer Institute Directors (NCID) meeting held annually, during the month of July, in Lyon, France. The NCID attracts Cancer Institute leadership and key stakeholders across the cancer spectrum. iPRI, in collaboration with the World Prevention Alliance (WPA), places particular focus on the participation of scientists from lower resource countries. In part with the help of generous donors, iPRI and the WPA pay all expenses for visitors from countries that could not otherwise afford international travel.
