Romain Ould Ammar
Romain Ould Ammar was born in Lyon, France. He graduated in 2020 from Lasalle Beauvais, an engineering school in Agronomy. During the same year he got a Msc degree in Epidemiology from the Claude Bernard University, Lyon 1. He worked almost one year at the International Agency for Research on Cancer mainly on obesity, inflammation and breast cancer. He collaborated with a cancer center research (Centre François Baclesse, Caen) where he worked on a French cohort (AGRICAN) studying the link between a range of pesticides exposures and the risk of developing several cancers. Since February 2021, Romain Ould’Ammar’s joined iPRI as a Research Officer. His research activities focus on the epidemiology of cancer and of chronic illness with an interest in projects designed to assess the impact of nutrition.
