Rajendra Badwe receives award at NCID 2019

Rajendra Badwe is Director of the Tata Memorial Cancer Centre in Mumbai, India. He was a pioneer in the introduction of evidence-based treatment guidelines in the Institute which then spread to other major centres. He has accelerated the national and international development of the Institute which is widely recognised internationally as a leading Cancer Institute.

Dr Badwe is widely known and respected internationally and his advice is frequently sought by national and international organisations. In recognition of his lifetime commitment to Oncology and oncology patients, it is a pleasure to recognise this by the award of the World Prevention Alliance/ International Prevention Research Institute for their contribution to Cancer Control.
