iPRI is delighted to announce the arrival of Dr Gilles Guillot to the position of Vice-President Biostatistics at the International Prevention Research Institute.
Gilles Guillot was born in Lyon, France and obtained his PhD at the University of Grenoble. He is a highly-experienced Biostatistician with considerable experience working in an international environment. His previous post was as Scientific Administrator (Statistics) in the Risk Assessment and Scientific Assessment Department of the European Food Safety Authority, based in Parma, Italy. Prior to that he was Associate Professor and Research Group Leader (Statistics) in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Technical University of Denmark (Lyngby, Denmark) and visiting Associate Professor in the Centre for GeoGenetics at the Natural History Museum of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen (Copenhagen, Denmark). Before his appointment in Denmark he was a Norwegian Research Council Researcher in the Department of Biology at the University of Oslo (Oslo, Norway).
Gilles Guillot will bring his statistical experience to a group of dedicated and enthusiastic scientists working in quantitative aspects of prevention and epidemiology.
